FAQ's

How far in advance of my event should I book?
  • It is not uncommon for weddings or holiday events to book six months to a year in advance.  During the wedding season (March - October) and the holiday season (November & December), Patricia's calendar tends to be full.  However, Patricia makes every effort to accommodate last minute events.  Go to the Contact Us page to book your event or download the Performance Agreement.

How much space is needed for the harp?

  • A 6' x 6' space is sufficient.

Do you perform at outdoor events?

  • Yes, however, the client must agree to provide proper shelter in the event of inclement weather.  Weather that is hot, cold, windy, or wet is detrimental to instrument and performer. A solid, flat surface must also be provided.   NOTE:  Patricia reserves the right to cancel if proper shelter is not provided.

Do I need a special vehicle in which to carry the harp to lessons?

  • The student does not need to bring his/her own harp to lessons.  Patricia has several harps in her studio that the students play.  When it is necessary for the student to play his/her own harp, such as at Highland Harp concerts, most students will be playing smaller harps that fit in the back seat of most cars.  Learn more about the types of instruction that Patricia Hager offers.

What is your schedule of fees for my event?

  • For a complete list of fees, please view pricing page.

What type of music may I request for my reception?

  • A variety of musical styles is possible.

Do I need to sign an agreement?

  • Yes.  A "Performance Agreement" form must be signed prior to your event.  Please download a copy of the form for full details.
